Every week, EA Sports produce a special set of in-form player cards for Fifa 14, that celebrate the real-life performances of in-game players during that week. The gold and black cards feature attribute boosts that can provide a massive advantage in game making them highly sought after. With jumbo christmas gold packs available now, here’s our pre-christmas top five in-forms:
#5 Luis Suarez – 88 Overall – TOTW 13
Say what you like about the character of the man, you can’t deny his performance against Norwich made him the first name on the list of in-forms in week 13. With four expertly struck goals and an assist, he earned his second in-form of the season, with a overall rating boosted by 2 and a shooting attribute of 90, making him positively lethal in front of goal.
#4 – Sergio Aguero – 90 Overall – TOTW 8
Though he’s been outshone this season by Suarez, Aguero has still been banging in the goals for City this season with two braces earning him an in-form during week 8. Currently, he is the joint top overall rated player in the Premier League, with 90 pace, 90 shooting and 91 dribbling, good luck if you come across a team featuring him.
#3 Gareth Bale – 88 Overall – TOTW 12
Real Madrid’s latest galáctico, the world record signing Welshman Gareth Bale has been in decent form for his new club and earned an in-form for his first hat-trick for Los Merengues against Real Valladolid during week 12. With 93 pace and 87 shooting, this in-form Bale is the best right midfielder in La Liga by a country mile.
#2 Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 91 Overall – TOTW 13
Probably one of the most prolific goalscorers of this generation, Zlatan has been playing incredibly well for Qatari-backed Paris St Germain. He received his in-form following PSG’s 5-0 mauling of Sochaux. His eye for goal is reflected by his 93 shooting and 91 dribbling combined with his 6’5 height make for one hell of an attacking presence.
#1 – Cristiano Ronaldo - 94 Overall – TOTW 10
Just when you thought he couldn’t top his 5 goals in 2 games for his first in-form, he then proceeded to single-handedly win a world cup place for Portugal with a stunning hat-trick that thunderstruck Sweden a few weeks later. Deservedly the best non-legend player in the game, with 94 Pace, 94 Shooting and 93 Dribbling he’s already profoundly overpowered, but chuck in the 89 Heading and you have a complete forward right there.
