PlayStation All-Stars Statues Coming This Year – Starting With Jak and Daxter

Jak & Daxter Statue

It seems that renowned collectible video game statue makers Gaming Heads have attained the rights to the ‘PlayStation All-Stars’ brand, potentially meaning that any of the characters featured in PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale could get transformed into a stunning statue.

The first statue in this line is that of Naughty Dog’s Jak and Daxter, with the two titular characters posed as they are on the cover of the very first game in the series. Standing at a relatively large 15 inches at a 1/6 scale, the statue oozes quality and detail – as has come to be expected from the people that has brought us gorgeous pieces such as their Portal turret, TF2 Heavy statue, Skyrim Dragonborn statue and Gordon Freeman statue.

Hand-painted and cast in high-quality poly-stone, the Jak & Daxter statue is limited to 750 pieces worldwide and will set you back $189.99 (£123.15) when it comes out in Q4 of this year. It may seem expensive, but considering its size, amazing quality and limited production count, it’s actually quite a good deal.

An exclusive edition to Gaming Heads’ site is going for $199.99 (£129.64), with the difference being a bronze-effect finish at a lower count of 350 pieces. Personally, I prefer the standard edition anyway.

It’s great to see Gaming Heads start up a new line and I’m genuinely excited to see what pieces become available in the future. Limited edition statues generally sell-out on pre-orders alone, so it’s best to pre-order your standard or exclusive edition of the statues as soon as possible. Check the gallery below for some great shots of both versions.
