SEGA Closing Yet Another Studio This Year

Medieval II Total WarAmid frequent studio closures by video game publishers, it seems that SEGA will yet again be cutting down, this time by closing Sega Studios Australia later on in the year.

It’s currently unclear how many staff members will be affected by the studio — formerly Creative Assembly Australia — closing, whether staff will be re-positioned elsewhere in the company, as well as what will become of any current projects they may be working on. It looks like this team behind London 2012: The Official Video Game, Medieval II: Total War and Stormrise is unfortunately just yet another group suffering from the current climate of the industry.
